Dr Michael Foley is Professor Emeritus at the School of Media, Technological University Dublin, and an experienced journalist and trainer

He has worked with the BBC Media Action, UNICEF, UNESCO, and the International Federation of Journalists on media development projects in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the MENA countries and sub-Saharan Africa since the late 1990s. Michael’s areas of expertise include media ethics, curriculum development, and media/news literacy.
