Mark Doyle


After a career with the BBC spanning three decades, Mark has worked as a communications specialist and journalism trainer for international organisations, such as the United Nations, the USAID or the UK Department for International Development.

For over 20 years he was a BBC Correspondent, mostly in Africa, with assignments in conflict zones and high-risk countries. He also worked as a BBC deployment editor and Planning Editor for BBC World Service Radio. Since leaving the BBC in 2015, Mark has also trained journalists in Finland, Moldova, Nigeria, and South Sudan. He speaks fluent French and mother-tongue English.
