Gulnura is a blogger and media activist with over 10 years’ experience in media, governance and civil society development. Gulnura was an adviser to Kyrgyz Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic in 2017-2018 and is a former Director of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. She heads Bishkek School of Public Relations and is a founding partner in the prestigious Promotank Consulting Company.

Since 2010, Gulnura has been lecturing in Journalism and Mass Communications department at the American University of Central Asia and was its head in 2010-12. She holds a PhD in Journalism from the Russian Academy of Sciences, and an MA in Science Journalism from City University of London.
